February is "Veguary!" Look for our cafeteria staff members in their “more plants, less meat” aprons. Our schools have increased fruit and vegetable offerings on menus and will be offering new plant-based items on each menu. There are special tasting events in each school and fruit and vegetable tasting sensory lessons in Memorial School classrooms. “Veguary facts of the day” are included in morning announcement and there are signs in all cafeterias about the health, environmental, and humane advantages of eating more plants.
