East Hampton High School is a four-year comprehensive, public high school, grades 9-12, with a total enrollment of approximately 500 students. The high school serves a predominately middle income, emerging, suburban community of 13,000 residents. East Hampton High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. East Hampton is located 10 miles from Middletown and 21 miles south of Hartford.
Of the 143 number of graduates, 69% attend four-year college, 14% attend two-year college, 6% attend vocational/technical schools, 8% enter employment, 1 % go into military service, and 2 % complete a gap year/other plans.
East Hampton High School students on the average scored 5% higher than the Connecticut average.
Nearly 80 % of AP Scholars scored a 3 or higher on their test.
