Board of Education Budget Workshop

The Budget process resumes on Monday evening, April 6 at 6:30 PM via ZOOM.  Please feel free to join with your phone or computer video.  

\r\n

As a result of the COVID 19 situation, the Board of Education and Town Departments have been asked by the Town Council to “thoughtfully review budget requests and consider adjustments that will keep requests to an absolute minimum.”  The Board of Education will review the 2020-21 Budget request with an increase of 3.92% that was submitted to the town and consider possible cuts recommended by the Superintendent. All members of the public are welcome to be part of this meeting.  A schedule of upcoming meetings has been included.  Upon review of the budget by the Board of Finance, the Town Council will determine both the Town and Education Budget for 2020-21. Your involvement is important as there will be no referendum this year.
