Physical Education & Health

The Physical Education and Health Department offers multiple courses for students to engage in a variety of health and wellness options. The goal of the department is for students to improve their physical and mental health by taking part in lifelong activities they enjoy. Students are challenged to create and deliver their own creative lessons and fitness programs to meet personal goals and live healthy lifestyles. The department aims for students to learn about diverse topics that impact their overall physical, mental/emotional, and social wellbeing. Students will successfully recognize their own emotions, use responsible decision-making skills, and build meaningful relationships, all while remaining self-aware. Courses offered: Health I, Health II, General Physical Education, Racquet Sports, Fitness for Life, Mind Body Connections and Team Sports.
