Center Student Council proudly announces their community service project for February is Service for Veterans to support Operation Gratitude. Operation Gratitude annually sends 200,000+ care packages to Veterans, First Responders, New Recruits, Wounded Heroes, their Care Givers, and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas and their families waiting at home. Collections of items for veterans will start February 1st and end February 24th. Please remember all items must be travel sized and individually wrapped. Since the guidelines recommend only 5-8 items in each care bag, even a single contribution will help.
Collection will be by classroom and Student Council members will pick up boxes to sort and pack at the morning meeting February 24th.
