2019 Veterans Day Assembly

On Friday, November 8th, East Hampton High School students had the opportunity to invite the veterans in their life, to the 4th Annual Veterans' Day Breakfast and all-school assembly to  honor those who have served our country.  Student and guest speakers shared their unique perspective of what veterans and serving in the military has meant to them.  VFW Post 5095 graciously shared Veteran memorabilia, that was displayed all week, so that our students could take some time to take it all in.  A big thank you goes out to Social Studies teachers Melissa Reynolds and Samantha LaBonte, who spearhead this event every year. Thanks as well as to all the students who spoke, decorated, and sent out invitation, the EHHS Music Department for performing some lovely and moving, patriotic selections;  the cafeteria staff as well as faculty and staff members who created a delicious breakfast, and last but not least to the VFW Color Guard who was also present during the assembly.
